We are collecting non-perishable food items for our local Food Bank from Monday, November 25, 2013 until Wednesday, December 11, 2013. Dry foods, such as rice, pasta and breakfast cereal, canned foods, such as soup, beans, apple sauce, fruit or vegetables, and peanut butter are examples of foods that are needed by the Food Bank. Please see your child’s teacher in order to set up your classroom observation time. Classroom visits provide parents with an excellent opportunity to observe their children in action as they learn and interact with their classmates and the various learning materials that are available to promote concept development and exploration through play.

Please write a note in your child’s planner or call your child’s teacher to set up an interview time to discuss your child’s progress to date. Remember, there is no day set aside for interviews this year. Telephone conversations are another option for progress updates and information sharing.

We look forward to meeting you in front of the primary and junior doors. Remember that our Grade 1 and 2 students line up in front of the primary doors beside the parking lot. Our Grade 3, 4, 5 and 6 students line up in front of the junior doors by the stairs to the soccer field.
